In and Between Symposium: A Creative-Critical Exchange

12 September 2012 at The Atrium, University of Glamorgan, Cardiff.

9 August 2012 - 1:18pm

Embracing poetry, performance, theatre making, film making, critical writing and reflection, 'In and Between' is a practice-as-research project based at the University of Glamorgan. To mark the project's completion, this symposium presents a showcase of the work created for the project, together with panel discussions on collaboration and critical/creative dialogue.

Professor John Schad (Lancaster University) will give a keynote lecture followed by a showcase of the two artworks produced by the In and Between team: a web-based poetry film by Philip Gross and Wyn Mason; and a filmed performance and installation by Jodie Allinson and Inga Burrows. Alice Entwistle, Kevin Mills and Stephen Lacey will also offer their creative-critical responses to the artworks.

The afternoon session will involve panel discussions on creative collaboration and critical/creative dialogue involving scholars and arts practitioners.
